| | Hi i was wondering if there is a way to subtract 2 meshes at runtime? its more like the option in 3d max where u intersect 2 meshes and subtract the intersecting vertices from one of them, more like carving using the other.
I need some reference or pointers on where to start looking, any code of course will be very helpful. Thanks | |

| | I don't believe there is any way to do this directly from the directx mesh class. The area you are looking for is called CSG (Constructive Solid Geometry).
I am afraid I don't know of/couldn't find any free working examples :(. Here's a few links I got off a google search that might be helpful:
