Hi, i would like to see my terrain in both "modes" - wired and textured (to see polygons), but setting
FillMode.WireFrame | FillMode.Solid
renders only like Solid.

I wrote this code for pixel shader, but it's a little dirty non-common way approach (add to the end of PS + set the xEnableGrid from XNA to true).

        float x = PSIn.TextureCoords.x - (int)PSIn.TextureCoords.x;
        float y = PSIn.TextureCoords.y - (int)PSIn.TextureCoords.y;
        x /= k;
        x = x - (int)x;
        x *= k;
        y /= k;
        y = y - (int)y;
        y *= k;
        float d = 0.01f;
        if (x < d*k || x > (1-d)*k || y < d*k || y > (1-d)*k)
            Output.Color.rgb *= 0.0f;
            Output.Color.g = 1;

Haven't tried this myself but maybe you could just render the terrain in 2 passes, the first with normal fill and the second in wireframe?
