First of all - Hello! Great idea with forum.
Sorry in this topic, but have problems with publishing topics...

I'm completely green in DirectX programming and need any help. Never ever dream, that will need DirectX!
I'm statistican. Working under data mining project for environmential data. The point of my problem is close to PCA analysis. Next month or two will have to implement PCA algorythm to my project. Yesterday found such topic in MSDN DirectX part: ID3DXPRTCompBuffer::ExtractPCA. Cannot find any more examples "how to use it" on msdn...
Please help me:
1. can I use it in my project like normal PCA extract method? - it's unbelievable for me, that can use it in my application in so easy way...
2. How to do it - it means, need only a basic example or suggestions - just now, looking into tutorials and topics... but need ideas "how could it be done"? Need "starting point" for new

Interface of my system is created in vb net, classes are partially in C, vb, C#.
