| | Hi,
I have made an XNA game, using the given effects file. When running it from Visual Studio it works fine. However when I publish the project, it doesn't work.
The published game seems to fail on the line that loads the effects file. When I examine the published files, neither the effects file nor its compiled version can be found. So the publisher seems to overlook the effect file. Is there a way to fix this?

| | Hi BTK,
This may seem like a silly question, but did you copy the effect file in to same directory as the .exe? The effect file will only be compiled at run-time, therefore when a publish is run, the effect file will remain seperate.
I hope this helps,
