Hey can someone explain to me why we use a vector4 for the light position?
(X,Y,Z,?)
what is the fourth value used for? it seems no matter what I change it to, it has no effect. Is it actualy used?

OK after reading through the later chapters I think I figured it out. Am I right in thinking that the fourth value is W. I.E we are using Homogenous matrices?
Though I'm still unclear as to what advantage this brings...
