I went through series 1: Terrain- and enjoyed it
very much. I wanted to ask something:
How do I make a terrain texture in paint- or other softawre, and how can I put that texture in the terrain program I created in the tutorial.

| | In paint, your going to need to make the design you want (white being tall, black being short). And draw it grayscale (I guess it doesn't have to be grayscale but its harder to tell the grayscale value from some weird neon green color than it is from well gray)... the problem lies in your going to be changing your brush color every 2 seconds and back and forth and back... you get the idea. But it can be done, just lots of time. If you use programs like Gimp (free!) or Photoshop you can do more with gradients and layers. anyway, when you've made your design, you save it as bmp. Then you go into your project and add the bmp to your project. Go to your code and look for the:
content.load<Texture2D> ("heightmap");
</code
change heightmap to your image name (ignore the .bmp)
